Hillcrest Orchards - Ellijay, GA

If you’re looking for a fall activity that’s sure to entertain the whole family, then take a look at Hillcrest Orchards. We went for a petting zoo and apples but found so much more. Hillcrest Orchards is an easy drive at just 1.5 hours north of Atlanta or 1.5 hours south of Chattanooga. They have swimming pig races, slides, inflatable trampolines, trike tracks, kids corn maze, zip-line and tons more. Be prepared to wait in line for entry (however we were told you could also enter through the market if the line was long). Entry is $14 but includes everything but the apples. Apple bags can be purchased, $8 for 1/2 peck and $15 for full peck.

Don’t let the line to get in discourage you. Once inside the Orchards, it is quite large. Not to mention the million activities they offer, so it doesn’t feel crowded at all. The petting zoo was super cute and full of animals. Our 3 year old daughter enjoyed the slides, trampoline, tricycle track, corn maze, and picking apples. We spent 3 hours at the orchards and could have easily spent 5+ hours.
